Orchard and Cidery Tours at Kelly Ridge Farms
Two February Dates to See How It All Comes Together
At Tumbling Creek, experience shows up in every decision—from the orchard to the glass. This February, we’re offering two opportunities to see that process up close.
On February 14 and February 28, we’re hosting an orchard and cidery tour so you can get a look inside the process. These afternoons are designed to give guests a clear look at how our cider is made, why we do things the way we do, and how those choices shape flavor.
You’ll begin in the orchard.
Even in winter, the orchard tells an important part of the story. You’ll walk the rows with our team, talk through how trees are managed throughout the year, and learn how decisions made now affect apples, harvest, and cider months down the road. This is where expertise starts—long before fermentation.
From there, the experience moves into the cidery.
Inside, we’ll walk through the pressing and fermentation process and explain how different methods lead to different styles of cider. You’ll taste ciders with that context in mind, learning how orchard choices, fermentation techniques, and ingredient sourcing show up in aroma, texture, and flavor.
What you taste makes more
sense once you’ve seen how it’s made.
This experience is unhurried and hands-on, with plenty of time for questions and conversation. It’s a good fit for couples, friends, or anyone interested in understanding cider beyond the label.
The event runs about two hours, from 2–4 PM, and takes place rain or shine. You’ll be walking on gravel paths, so comfortable footwear is recommended. Free tastings are included, with additional pours, bottles, and merchandise available for purchase.
