How It Works: Your Pour Has Power
It’s simple, fun, and makes a real impact. Here’s the lowdown:
Sip & Spend: Every time you visit The Taproom and spend $20, you'll receive a purple pom-pom.
Cast Your Vote: You’ll see jars representing three incredible local organizations. Drop your pom-pom into the jar of the group you want to support.
We Donate: Each month, we’ll tally up the votes and write a check to the winning organization!
It’s our small way of saying thank you—for supporting us, and for helping us support the very community that fills our glasses.
Meet This Month's Amazing Champions
For our very first Cheers for Charity, we’re spotlighting three organizations that are the backbone of our region, each working to keep our environment, our agriculture, and our local economy strong and vibrant.
Upper Tennessee River Roundtable
Dedicated to the health of our watershed, this group works tirelessly to protect and preserve the rivers and streams that are the lifeblood of our Appalachian home. They ensure the water that nourishes our apple trees remains pure and pristine for generations to come.
Appalachian Sustainable Development (ASD)
ASD is all about building a resilient local food system. From supporting farmers to increasing access to healthy, local food, their work is fundamental to the "local" in "local flavor." They help sow the seeds for a stronger, healthier Appalachia.
This isn't just a market; it's a weekly gathering place, a celebration of our growers and makers. It’s where relationships are built over bushels of tomatoes and jars of honey. By supporting them, you're supporting the very faces that grow our food.
